The Mishimoto racing thermostat for the 2017+ Honda Civic Type R is designed to help your cooling system operate at peak efficiency, whether you're cruising to your local car meet or tearing up the track. Our thermostat begins to open 10C earlier than the stock thermostat at 68C (154.4F) and is fully open 7C earlier than stock at 83C (181.4F). That allows precious coolant to flow into the radiator and start shedding heat sooner. Couple this thermostat with the Mishimoto performance aluminum radiator and direct-fit oil cooler kit for a Civic Type R that runs as cool as it looks.
