Adhesive backed transmission pan heat shield installs between the transmission pan and cross over pipe on JK Wranglers with VLP 42RLE 4 Speed transmissions. It blocks radiant heat from the exhaust, preventing heat soak into the transmission pan and fluid. The result - cooler transmission temps, improved performance, and longer component life.
