TR7/TR8 Door Belt Molding - Waist Seal

This is the outer weather strip that runs along the top of the door.
Finally, a solution to the wavy and nearly impossible-to-fit waist seals that appeared on the market a few years ago.
These seals are reinforced and shipped straight, not rolled up.
As these are shipped straight, additional shipping charges may apply for international orders.
*Please note, these are shipped at approximately 30". They will need to be trimmed to their installed length of approximately 26.75 +/- .5". We recommend checking the fitment of your existing moldings, and cut from there. Scissors will cut the soft side, but diagonal-cutting pliers will snip through the reinforced side.*

TR7/8 door waist seals
Ordered and installed these seals July 2023. They come about 6" longer than needed which allows you to experiement with how to cut them and notch them out to fit the door. Had no problem installing them with the clips and the right tool, A well made product!

Great Product
These don't come with the retaining clips so you will need to reuse the old ones or get new ones. You will have to cut these to length. I used a hack saw.

Window Waist Seals
I have a 1980 Triumph TR7 that the plastic/rubber window seals were cracking from age. I called TWS Motors and explained what i needed and they told me what those seals were called- waist seals ! I got my seals quickly and packaged well at a fair price. I will be buying again from TWS Motors !!!
