Threaded Stud 568664, Exhaust Manifold To Front Pipe, 5/16-Inch Short Unified Fine Pitch Thread (UNF), For Land Rover Series 2, 2A, And 3
By having these studs screwed into the manifold, it is easy to locate the downpipe and gasket into position and secure them with a nut. Due to the extreme heat of the exhaust system, these studs and their associated nuts can stick, snap or strip easily, requiring drilling out, rethreading and replacing.
