Fitted as part of the steering track rod assembly, QEK000050 is a Drag Link Tube on Range Rover P38 models.
The tube transmits steering input along the linkage between the steering box and the steering arms via the track rod ends. It provides a rigid connection that maintains steering geometry, resists bending and torsion under steering loads, and locates the track rod ends within the track rods and damper assembly to minimize lateral movement and preserve toe settings.
Regular inspection of the tube and its joints is recommended because wear or damage can lead to increased free play, uneven tire wear, or steering wander.
