The stock rubber bushing was pretty robust on your Triumph TR7 TR8, but as with most things time is not friendly to all things. When this bushing wears out you get some play and movement in the steering column which can be unsettling at speed, replace this bushing with this modern polyurethane unit and get the solid feel back in your Triumph.
