
Rebuilt LT77 Rover Transmission - TR8 TR7
OEMWe will require a useable core for exchange. If you have a core, please choose "core. A $600 core charge will apply if a useable core is not returned. If you do not have a core, please choose "no core".
All of our gearboxes are complete rebuilds with a minimum of bearings, selector forks, synchros, metal oil pump, seals and gaskets being done.
Our rebuilds come with over 30 years experience in the British transmission. We've run a stock LT77 transmission in BAD 8 and our turbo 3.5lt, both which put down 380hp and 402tq to the wheels and have not seen any issues.
CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE - Our tall 5th gear option is what the 1981 Triumph TR8s came with, replacing the .83 5th gear with a .79, dropping around 200 RPMs at 70mph.

*A Core is considered a salvageable transmission. If your core, doesn't meet this you will be charged the core fee.

Good responsive service from Woody,answered all my questions promptly, very fast delivery of rebuilt gearbox(7 days with FedEx to South Australia). First time I've dealt with The Wedge Shop, usually order from UK as TR/SD1 parts are not easy to come by here. Haven't installed the gearbox yet as I don't need to as the one already in there still works fine. It's intended as a spare box as these are becoming harder to find now. Very impressed.
