Overtime the standard rocker assembly wears to give varying levels of valve lift resulting in power losses, even when they are new they are not accurate. When building any engine reducing mechanical losses is of high priority. The original stated valve lift figure is 1.5:1, in reality when measured this is actually around 1.45:1. This roller rocker set is 1.55:1 resulting in greater valve lift. At the end of the rocker arm sits a steel roller tip which reduces side loading of the valve onto the guide while also reducing friction. Supplied with uprated alloy pedestals and uprated rocker shaft this assembly is a fit & forget item. Adjustments are made to the tappets using the cap head screws provided. As fitted to all our fast road & competition (Where regulations allow) engines. To be fitted alongside our chrome moly pushrod set (TEN206).
