Racetorations Overdrive Engagement Kit TR2-6
The conventional method of operating overdrive is by flicking a switch either on the dashboard, steering column or gear knob. Although this method works it is a little crude. Between gear changes unless the switch is deactivated it will remain in overdrive resulting in loss of performance from the engine due to labouring as the gear ratio enforces lower revs. Our system uses an automatic relay box which detects when the gear is changed, when this occurs overdrive is disengaged allowing the maximum potential of the engine to be given. Overdrive is engaged using a switch on the supplied alloy gear knob. The kit contains all the necessary equipment to install. Recommended on fast road & competition cars. Choose from the drop down menu which car it is being fitted too.
