    My TR7 and I live on an island off the coast of Maine. When I saw this item on the website, I knew that I had to have one handy - just in case. I’ve had high-torque starters on my Series Land Rovers and other sports cars - lighter, lower load, easy to install - the gear reduction starters are the way to go.

    I'm very happy with my new starter from The Wedge Shop. Received it quickly. Don't listen to all the people saying it's a difficult job. Just remove that engine stabilizer and slide it right out/in from the front. I do have to say though, after 29 years of the same starter "sound" this starter just doesn't sound "right".
