Rear brake backing plates on Range Rover Sport, LR3 and LR4 are common wear items, and they often rot out through prolonged exposure to salty winter roads or in salt air seashore environments. The genuine, one-piece, plate design is a bear to replace, as it requires removing the wheel hub (which in turn often means replacing the wheel bearings.) Our new, two-plate design eliminates the need to remove the hub and saves you significant time and money. This kit also includes new parking brake shoes, hardware and springs, which are also recommended for replacement when replacing the backing plates.
