This custom rebuilt 4.0 liter Land Rover short block engine features best-in-class remanufacturing, and provides customers with a top-quality engine replacement that actually resolves several common issues that hindered the new, stock Rover engines.

Our unique remanufacturing process has corrected a sleeve pressure seal problem that plagued many OE Land Rover engines. These original engine blocks are parallel-decked to the main bearing saddles, which ensures uniform compression across the entire block. A seal between the flange cylinder liner and the engine head is created by using specially-flanged sleeves which prevent compression gas leaks. Additionally, each engine features a polished crankshaft to guarantee no imperfections.

This Land Rover short block engine replacement is intended for use in Discovery Series II 1999 – 2002 and Range Rover 4.0 1999 – 2002 vehicles that use 4.0-liter BOSCH engines.
