GEMS chip set for standard for P38 Range Rover, 97 NAS D90, and Discovery 1. Tuned for overall improvement or motor displacement increases. 

Benefits:

  • Fully compatible with the standard vehicle diagnostic and security systems. Service and fault diagnosis procedures are unaltered, and the upgrade is undetectable to Land Rover TestBook.
  • Engines gain approximately 10-15BHP, and the engine will rev much more smoothly.
  • Improvements in fuel economy of 10-15%
  • Better response above 4500RPM and removal of the "flat spot" on full load between 1750 and 3250RPM
  • Improved idle speed, idle stability, shift patterns, cold starting, crank fueling, rev limit (6500rpm), etc
  • Improved engine acceleration via the ECU configuration, to make it more responsive

Chip Installation:

  • For Range Rover P38, a chip set will be sent to you to install yourself.
  • For Discovery 1 & 1997 NAS D90's, we require your ECU to be sent to us for chip replacement.

    w I installed the Gems Standard Chip Set into my 1998 RR P-38 right after I received them. I am on my second engine with only 56,000 miles on it. I am the original owner of my Rover bought in Oct. 98 from Peabody Ma. I have always taken care of it but unfortunately the engines had a bad rep. and it happened to me. The car now has 175,000 on it an with the Gems Chipset it runs fantastic. I immediately noticed better throttle response, more power and smoothness at the low end I have just mounted the carbon fiber trumpets and noticed even more power and smoothness. Thank You TWS, Tom.
