Driveshaft Flexible Strap Spitfire 71 to 74
The propeller shaft on a Triumph Spitfire 1971 to 1974 is very unique. To compensate for the back and forth motion, instead of a slip join it uses flexible spring steel and with anything as times goes on the steel can brake. If you are replacing the uniiveral joints on your Triumph Spitfire you should be replacing these straps too. Eight will be needed Per Car. Cross Reference 854-660
