Description
This is a Drive flange that is correct for the Austin Mini with Drum Brakes in the Front. A few things can happed to damage this flange, the most common is wheel bearing failure. The flange is one side of the thrust surface of the wheel bearing, when the bearing wears out the mating surface and in extreme cases with will let the axle move enough for the CV axles to move and strip the splines. Keep and eye on this flange when changing wheel bearings. Cross Reference 114-962
