If you're seeing coolant leaking in your front engine compartment directly behind the radiator, this hose assembly can often be the culprit.
It is a wear item and should be replaced on older vehicles if leaking or when replacing the water pump.
The two o-rings that come fitted to the two down tubes on this hose assembly (that fit into the top of the engine) are the most common failure point. These o-rings will often disintegrate over time on older vehicles and you will see coolant begin to seep from the connection points on the engine top.
The seam along the spine of this hose assembly is also a known weakspot on older vehicles that can degrade over time and where coolant can start to seep.
