Aluminum Gas Tank
Finally received my tank after 4-1/2 months. First told it was out of stock and would be three months. I contacted TWS Motors after 3 months - I was told another month - called again to be told the manufacturer was not making them anymore and asked if I wanted a steel tank instead. Had a few questions about the steel version. In the process they found one last aluminum tank on the shelf. Received it UPS about a week later only to find out that it did not have the rubber strips shown in the image. they should have had two 1/8" ones for the straps and two 1/2" strips for the top of the tank. Another phone call... "I will ship them right out." Only received the two 1/8" strips, after another week. Living in rural community I had a difficult time finding appropriate 1/2" thick foam. Sorry for the long rant, just a little frustrated. The fuel tank looks very good. Just too late for this summer.
