This kit is a must for those running more than 300hp in a TR7 or TR8, but is still a great upgrade for those cars running less power. The strut brace helps as strut towers tend to sag, leading to sloppy feeling front end. This rigid strut mount with sure all that up, transforming the handling of your car. The lower control arm mounts are the weak point of the rear suspension setup and can actually start to pull away from the body under heavy load, these braces stop that from happening.

 

Both the strut brace and the lower control arm braces have been designed and tested here at The Wedge Shop.

 

 Things to note:

  • Meant for TR7V8 and TR8
  • Strut brace will fit with any 4 barrel setup
  • Strut brace will NOT fit with stock carbs or Fuel Injection
  • Fresh air intake will have to be modified fit or we sell a plate for your fresh air vent area so you will still be able to pull fresh air in from outside. 
  • Fitment on the lower control arm braces is not expected to be perfect as every car is slightly different. Some small adjustments may need to be made, but not required on every vehicle. Trimming of the rear lower brace ears is required.
  • Lower control arm braces are made of stainless steel and are meant to be welded to the body

  • Braces come painted gloss black unless otherwise requested. Can be left unpainted if requested.
