Terrific Improvement
When I bought the car it had no bushings and the shifter plate was flopping all over everywhere. These bushings were just the ticket to set it firmly in place. Very happy. Hoping for no more gear grind.

Quick fix for a common problem
Received these next day! It helps living in the next state to Mass. The bushings fit perfectly, it's a bit of a pain to do but not impossible. They removed all the slop out of my shifter pattern. No more gear grind.

Another great product to fix the little quirks of an old car
These seem to be good quality and they fit correctly. Exactly what was needed to make an old shifter feel new. Just what you want if yours is as sloppy as this car before using these bushings.

Not fun to install but just what I needed
I said, "Man, this shifter is getting really sloppy." Got under the TR8 where I spend a lot of time and realized the bushings were not just deteriorated but entirely gone! Next thought was, "Oh, great, where am I going to find these?" Should have known: The Wedge Shop. For all other Triumph owners, please order here and support a company whose objective is to keep our cars on the road. Anyone wanting to discuss the installation can call me at 864 507 0099. What gear? Holding the gear stick so it doesn't grind?
5 stars all the way. Mine literally fell out when I replaced them. Much better and crisp then the stock rubber bushings. The actual distance i have to shift is actually shorter then before when the rubber ones were in fact good. If you have to hold it in place while driving to prevent grinding, keep you reveres lights on, or maybe just no idea what gear you might have shifted in, replace them with these. No more grinding when shifting, and you will have a much more fun, and easy shifting experience.

Shifter balking going into 2nd gear? Guess which gear you are in?
I would recommend these bushings installed if you are having a vague shifter feel, miss shifts or problem getting it into second or third gear. The original rubber bushings are probably junk by now. If the shifter housing is moving around on top the trans--you are probably having shift problems. Easy fix for a common problem on TR7 or TR8's.
