Arrow precision engineering billet steel crankshaft, all steel one-piece flywheel and seal housing kit suitable for TR2-4A & Morgan +4 engines.

Crankshaft Information

Billet steel crankshaft suitable for TR2-4A & Morgan +4 designed by Racetorations and manufactured in the UK by the world renowned Arrow Precision Engineering. Standard big end journal size, original connecting rods can be used but we recommend BEN201A-SET or BEN201D-SET.
Both the centre of the crankshaft and the big ends have been hollowed to reduce the rotating mass further while also increasing strength. See BEN206 or BEN208 for the flywheel. The rear flange incorporates an 8-bolt flywheel fixing, see BEN242 for bolts. Each crankshaft is supplied with an individual data sheet outlining dimensions and weights specific to that particular crank. Max RPM: 8000.

This crankshaft has a total weight of 17.5kg. This is 1.3kg (2.86lb) lighter than the original item. By using standard journal sizes this crank can be fitted into FIA race engines.

This latest design of our billet steel crankshaft incorporates a modified rear flange to enable the use of a single piece rear seal replacing the original split type for a modern high performance seal.

Flywheel Information (8 1/2" Clutch)

Lightweight all steel one-piece flywheel & ring gear suitable for TR2-4A & Morgan +4 engines. This latest flywheel design is the lightest version we have produced at 8.7kg lighter than the original Triumph flywheel. This considerable reduction in weight lowers the inertia of the rotating assembly allowing the engine to respond quicker to the demands of the driver. Recommended for fast road engines.

Manufactured in the UK by TTV Racing exclusively for Racetorations.

This flywheel is designed for use with a 8 1/2" (216mm) clutch system see BEN203, BEN215 & BEN217 for the components required. The original starter motor must be replaced for the TR4 original version or RAC102.

Flywheel Information (7 1/4" Clutch)

Ultralight all steel one-piece flywheel & ring gear suitable for TR2-4A & Morgan +4 engines. This latest flywheel design is the lightest competition version we have produced at 10.3kg lighter than the original Triumph flywheel and 2kg lighter than any other competition flywheel available on the market. This considerable reduction in weight lowers the inertia of the rotating assembly allowing the engine to respond quicker to the demands of the driver. Recommended only for competition cars.

This flywheel is designed for use with a 7 1/4" (184mm) clutch system see BEN205 & BEN216 for the components required. The original starter motor must be replaced for the TR4 original version or RAC102.
