TWS 50/50 Proportioning Block - TR8 TR7
TWS MotorsDirect replacement for the original proportional valve. This has a straight through 50/50 proportioning. With our front brake kit and stock rear brakes this setup work really well. Stop that front end nose dive!
Made out of polished Aluminium.
Also allows you to put a RPC in-line proportioning valve to allow for fine tune adjustment.

TWS 50/50 Proportioning Block
Installed the block over the weekend w/ new steel braided brake lines. Not sure if was the block or a combination of the block + new lines, but the TR8 stopped quickly and straight. Owned the car since the late 90's, never stopped so good. Running stock rotors, calipers and stock rear drums. My hunch is the proportioning block made the difference. Nice product.

Nice alloy part !
Installed but not yet tested. Restauration of my TR8 EFI 1980 in progress. Excited to see what it looks like on the road here in France. This summer, probably....................

Best braking upgrade for the money
I use Woody's brake proportioning block on all three of my TRs. The difference is amazing. The rear brakes have plenty of bite and the car stops much more efficiently. Before spending money on changing calipers and rotors, start with this block and then try better pads. You just find that a few small upgrades can save you plenty of money. The block installs easily and fits in place of the stock valve with no modifications necessary. 5 Stars!

Making the Rear Brakes Actually Do Something
I finally gave up and ordered one; once upon a time the factory prop valve worked pretty well, but overtime the rear brake functionality declined to the point of irrelevance, leaving me with 2-wheel braking. Spirited driving then brought smoking front pads and cold rear drums. One word of caution, you will have to re-learn brake pedal modulation to control your stops. Also, remember that new rear drums are unobtainable, so if you wear them out you are searching forums for alternative systems.

Every TR8 needs one
Had a problem with a customers car after a new master cylinder and stainless lines. A brief phone call is all it took to convince me. It bolts right in place and the results are truly undeniable.

Better Brakes
The best 1.5 hour upgrade I could make to my TR. I could tell the difference in the brakes just pulling out of the garage.
