    Make sure you press the old clutch off and use a new tolerance ring when you press the new one on the pulley shaft.

    TR-7 Replacement Fan Clutch

    I am the original owner of a California Fuel Injected Triumph TR-7 Spider. At 86000 miles the OEM fan clutch went out April of 2013. After sourcing several Triumph forums on the internet the best advice I came across on both sides of the Atlantic was to purchase a fan clutch from the Wedge Shop and I did so. I reinstalled the new fan clutch and sleeve and I'm back on the road again. I could find no decernable difference in the quality of the new part compared to the OEM part other then the 33 years age difference. Time will tell.
